Clinton A. McCloud, Jr. Clinton A. McCloud, Jr.Rotterdam Junction -- Clinton Alvin McCloud, Jr., 81, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at his residence. He was born on January 27, 1921, the son of the late Clinton A. McCloud, Sr. and the late Annie Primett Close. Mr. McCloud was a past commissioner and life member of the Rotterdam Junction Volunteer Fire Department, a life member of the VFW Post #4174 of Rotterdam Junction and a member of the Elks Lodge 2602. He was also a volunteer for the V.A. Hospital in Ft. Myers, FL and a volunteer at the Lehigh Acres Medical Center. He was a member and a volunteer at the Lehigh Acres Senior Center. Mr. McCloud was also a WWII veteran, serving in the United States Navy. Mr. McCloud is survived by his wife, Inez Viger McCloud of Altamont; a son, Clinton A. McCloud, III of Rotterdam Junction; three daughters, Suzanne McCloud of Melrose, Cheryl Nejman of Altamont and Lori Roberts of Schenectady; nine grandchildren, one great–grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
