COO Clark Harrison joined Biocartis in December 2011 as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this position, he is leading the industrialization activities and establishing production, worldwide distribution and servicing for Biocartis' innovative new products. Clark brings over 20 years of global industry experience to Biocartis. He began his career in the highly competitive Automotive industry, implementing Lean principles and processes. After holding positions of increasing responsibility at Rockwell Automotive, TRW, and American Axle & Manufacturing, Clark joined the Danaher Corporation in 2005 in their corporate Lean office, consulting, teaching and mentoring multiple operating companies and company executives. Later, Clark took assignments in Germany for Danaher's Dental & Life Sciences companies. At KaVo Dental, he first held the position of VP Quality and Regulatory, and later served as the General Manager of Service for the EMEA region. The two years prior to joining Biocartis, Clark served as VP Global Operations for Leica Biosystems, where he led international operations and logistics. Clark completed the dual-degree Masters of Management in Manufacturing at Northwestern University, receiving an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Master of Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering. Clark also has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
