Studies at Westminster University
, for a Certificate in Education, were swiftly followed by National Vocational Qualifications as an assessor and verifier.
Subsequent work at Forte Hotels, on their world-wide Customer Care Project, "Commitment to Excellence", enabled Clare to become a qualified Training Instructor/Facilitator.
Twenty years of working in operation management within the hospitality sector, gave Clare
invaluable experience regarding people management and people skills, coupled with a passion for learning and development, Clare had an envious head start when she
later turned her
hand to a new challenge as an in-house trainer.

, working to Investors in People principles ( IiP quality kite-mark for training and development), Clare
took responsibility for the design and implementation of training programmes for staff and clients that included GlaxoSmithKline, PricewaterhouseCoopers and The Virgin Group
For the last six years Clare
has worked as a freelance training consultant designing bespoke courses to enhance management and team skills.
Clare balances this work with part-time lecturing at Thames Valley University (formally Ealing College), working in the Faculty of Professional Studies, teaching on the Foundation Degree in Customer Care.
For the last 3 years, Clare coordinates Thames Valley Universities' Enterprise Project, working with a consortium of seven universities to promote entrepreneurship.
Recent work on a project supporting women as intra and entrepreneurs, catapulted Clare
to recognition within her
field and the realisation of a lifetime ambition.
In November 2007, Clare
was deservedly applauded with the National Training Award for the Greater London Region.
