Cindy and her husband, Pastor Bill Bridgman of Fairhill Community Church of God, moved to Alaska this past June.
Prior to their arrival Cindy worked at the Child Abuse and Neglect Council of Oakland County Michigan, serving first as their Director of the Child Advocacy program and then as Director of Community Outreach.
She has many years of experience as a therapist and educator.

...In this position, Bridgman will direct the CARE House forensic interview and therapeutic treatment programs and staff for the Council.She will serve as chief collaborator for the multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for the growth of the team concept, addressing the intervention and treatment of child sexual and severe physical abuse.
Along with members of the Child Abuse and Neglect Council staff, the community team is comprised of prosecutors, police jurisdictions, protective service districts, and others.Prior to joining the Child Abuse and Neglect Council of Oakland County, Bridgman was a therapist with the YWCA Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Services in Flint, where she primarily provided treatment to abused children and battered women.
While with the YWCA, she
created curriculum and taught parenting classes; served on the Genesee County Child Abuse and Neglect Protocol Committee; and appeared as an expert witness in court hearings throughout the state of Michigan.Additionally, Bridgman was a therapist/case manager for the Genesee County Community Mental Health Child & Family Services in Flint and a contractual forensic interviewer with the Family Assessment Clinic, a part of the University of Michigan School of Social Work.She
is a conference speaker and a guest lecturer at the University of Michigan
.Bridgman has a master's degree in social work from the University of Michigan and a bachelor of social work degree from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.
