Is it the last call for Chuck Galeti?
By George Thomas Published: June 24, 2013 It didn't take long for SportsTime Ohio to respond to the arrest of Chuck Galeti over the weekend. Parma police arrested Galeti for driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to display his license, according to reports. It's not the first time that he's had issues with alcohol. In 2003, he spent time in jail after a car accident and attendance in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program. Galeti has seemingly had nine lives when it comes to career chances. He's worked at Channel 3 (WKYC), WTAM (1100 AM), Channel 19 (WOIO), leaving that position, he said, because he was tired of standing outside of locker rooms waiting for athletes, according to a Plain Dealer report. But after the success of Bruce Drennan's All Bets Are Off, STO took a chance on Galeti's ironically titled talker that followed Cleveland Indians games during baseball season and aired at 10 p.m. out of season.

Chuck Galeti, Sports Director, Channel 19/43
Chuck Galeti joined the 19 Action News team May 1, 2004. You can catch Chuck, as he likes to be called, everyday anchoring sports on our 4,5,6,10 and 11pm newscasts. Chuck comes to us from WKYC Channel 3 right here in Cleveland! For eleven years, he was a sports reporter there. Before that, Chuck worked at WCJB in Gainesville, Florida, as well as WYOU in Scranton, Pennsylvania and WFMJ in Youngstown. Chuck hasn't just made a name for himself doing sports on TV. He was the morning sportscaster for the Rover Show on the former 92.3 FM, Extreme Radio too! Also on his radio resume, WTAM 1100, WKNR 1220 and The Wolf CD 106 in Youngstown. If you haven't guessed already, sports have always been a huge part Chuck's life. And, he's got the background to prove it! In high school, he earned "All Lake Erie League" honors in football and baseball. And, he even got his first taste of the major leagues as the Cleveland Indians' bat boy in 1982!
