Bring in your favorite wine, and I will create a special holiday present," said Christy Jennewein, CADC director. Jennewein also has her vibrantly painted vintage furniture and paintings for sale. "Another idea would be to purchase a gift certificate for an upcoming class," said Jennewein. "These 'Art by the Glass' classes are always enjoyable, especially if James Pate is the instructor." In addition to the Cannery and visiting artists' works, at least five Dayton Society of Artists and Sculptors members show every month, with prices ranging from $50 to $1,500. The gallery, as a whole, exhibits works by 40 artists every month. "We've had this slogan for years, 'Live Art, Give Art' because we want to always be creative in how we live daily, and want to share some of that creativity with special people in our lives," said Jennewein.

This exhibition came about at the request of Christy Jennewein, an artist and manager of The Cannery. She was quite interested in my series and wanted to showcase a group of women artists who had advanced collegiate degrees.
"They're back by popular demand, because it was just rockin' in here last month," said CADC director Christy Jennewein.
"Guests can see our new Antique Room and check out our Sidewalk Sale for great specials," Jennewein said.
