Christopher DaPrato, DPT, MS, CSCS, PES is currently the UC San Francisco Outpatient Physical Therapy Manager at the School of Medicine Mission Bay campus, treating all spectrums of orthopedics and sports.
Prior to his
current position, he
was a a Team Physical Therapist for the University of California Golden Bears
treating div 1 NCAA and professional athletes in their sports medicine department, and a previous Clinic Director for Physiotherapy Associates
in the Denver area.
DaPrato has actively been practicing in sports medicine for the last eleven years, and focuses on incorporating high level manual therapy with functional movement patterns and neuromuscular re-education.
has recently been excited to expand treatment paradigms to fellow PTs, ATCs, DOs, and MDs on Myofascial Decompression Techniques.
Over the last five years he
has developed these techniques to maximize results and improve the efficiency of elite athletes, weekend warriors, and general orthopedics alike.
He received his BS in Human Physiology, his Masters in Physical Therapy from Long Beach, and his Doctorate from Temple University.
His approach to patient care also encompasses advanced level strength and conditioning, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and a Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
