Earlier, as manager of corporate communications at Ford Aerospace, Chris

New registrations for the three-letter top-level domain names, of which the vast majority are dot-coms, hover at around 15,000 per day, says Christopher Clough, the director of communications at Network Solutions (NSI), which since 1992 has served as the registry database for all new dot-com names (and whose company slogan is "The Dot-Com people").
Asked if the NSI's board of directors have held emergency meetings to discuss the nascent trend that potentially threatens its future fortunes, Mr. Clough
snickered, regained his
composure and deadpanned: "Not at this time."
