Falewitch's wife, Chris Falewitch, is now the president of the company, though he said she was nervous about the venture at first."I was running jobs for another company and working side jobs, so I was hardly ever home anyway," he said.Falewitch said though his expectations were high when he started the company, even he did not expect the business to be this far along after just six years. That doesn't mean he is content to maintain a steady course."I have a group of people who are like tigers in a cage," he said."I hope to expand to at least one other city. We're doing work in Des Moines now, and I'd like to expand there or Lincoln. That's probably a year away, when I start getting hungry again."Falewitch credits the combination of his aggressive nature and the quality work of his employees as the reason Falewitch Construction has grown 1,000 percent in its first six years.
