Chris' musical career started early. In fact it started at age four when he sat at his first drum kit, and he hasn't stopped rocking since. He spent the next six years cutting his teeth on the skins by playing along with Jazz albums and progressive rock, and during this time was asked to join a group where he quickly found a talent in his singing as well as the drums.
High school brought accolades and opportunities for Chris including the National Woody Herman Jazz Award.Chris also performed in choir, singing many pop/spiritual solos, dancing in the show choir "Broadway Bound" as well as participating in musicals. In the midst of all this Chris was also the leader and arranger of an a cappella group as well as the lead singer and drummer of a wedding band consisting of high school jazz instructors.
Chris then moved on to the next phase of his life, college.Opting for a degree in the entertainment field Chris, decided on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where he received a Radio/TV/Film degree with an emphasis on music. While creating many demos and CD projects for himself and other artists Chris also found time to perform in musicals, choir concerts and jazz concerts.
Chris' musical experiences outside of college included The Final Four, an a cappella group for which he was manager, arranger and lead singer.Chris also toured Colorado for three months with the rock/funk band Cool Waters.Upon returning to Oshkosh from Colorado, Chris decided to use his talents for the sake of spreading the word of God and communicating the trials and lessons from his experiences. He became the lead singer and writer for Revelation, an alternative Christian Rock band that has enjoyed being on the bill with such notables as Third Day, Jars of Clay, Michael W. Smith and others.Chris was also the lead singer of Fall-out, a popular college band playing newer rock.
In addition to his stage experience Chris has also spent a great deal of time in the studio.Being in over fifteen projects thus far his studio experiences have ranged from singing and drumming, to writing and producing.
Chris is especially proud of recently having won "Honorable Mention" from the board of the statewide United Way for his original composition "Eyes Wide Open."A tune that was in "the hopper" for Revelation, "Eyes Wide Open" played with a video to approximately five hundred people who rose to give Chris a standing ovation.
Well aware of how God has used and continues to use the Holy Spirit in his life, Chris' response to his grace is his dedication to him through the one thing he knows he has been sent to this earth to do, Sing!Sing!Sing!
