Actively performing since the mid 70's, he's
played countless nightclubs and concerts over the years.Cobb
has done many studio recording sessions, playing on blues records, demo tapes and commercials for many different artists.His
1995 CD "CC's Blues" garnered rave reviews, got national air play and allowed Chris
to do two Europoean tours as a headliner.In 2005, Chris
second CD "Other Plans", a mostly original work that was entirely recorded in his
home studio, "Pacifica Records".Besides fronting the Chris Cobb Band
is doing a lot of freelance work with different local blues bands.For the last 2 years, he's
played a lot with Kathleen Cairns and Tattoo Blue.A few years back, Chris
got to travel all over the world and the U.S. as the guitarist for reknown blues singer "Sista Monica".Some of the bands he's
played with through the years are, swing jazz band "Jellyroll", E.C. Scott and Smoke, Bay Area legend Stu Blank, Mitch Woods and His
Rocket 88's and way too many more to list here.Chris' band has gone through countless incarnations since he
started working under his
own name in 1987, they've worked fulltime or part time, depending what else was going on.

Way back in 1984, Chris Cobb
was lucky enough to open for for Stevie Ray Vaughan.

married Gemma Spelman in 1986.
