Chip Warner, Portfolio Director Before joining Common Good Ventures, Chip worked as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, an international strategy firm.
At BCG, Chip
worked with both Fortune 500 and Philanthropy 100 clients, providing strategic advice to managers in the industrial products, high-tech, energy, and nonprofit sectors.As a business school student, he
also provided pro-bono consulting services to several startup nonprofits, including a children's grief counseling center and a community technology center in the Philippines.Chip has been an active volunteer and nonprofit board member throughout his professional career.Prior to business school, Chip served as an officer in the US Navy.As a naval officer, Chip led a division of nuclear technicians aboard an aircraft carrier and subsequently taught English literature to students at the US Naval Academy.He
has published articles on African American literature and digital literacy.Chip has a BS from the US Naval Academy, an MA from the University of Maryland, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
