is pleased to announce the selection of its new Executive Director, Cheri Kilty
, who will officially take the helm on July 27, 2015, brings a strong background in housing and homelessness to her
She most recently served as the Executive Director of the YWCA of Bellingham, where she led all aspects of agency operations, including a merger with the Womencare Shelter in 2013.
She served as the East King County Regional Director of the YWCA where she participated in the development of 144 units of affordable housing in the Issaquah Highlands - known today as Family Village Issaquah.
Earlier in her career she led the Broadview Shelter & Transitional Housing program at Solid Ground.
"I am very excited about this new opportunity, and look forward to working with the board and staff at Attain Housing
to make our hopes and dreams for homeless families come true," Kilty
will be hitting the ground running, helping the agency prepare for its upcoming "Wish Upon a Star" Dinner Auction in September and working with the board to create a new Strategic Plan to guide the agency over the next five years.
