The competition was not as strong as it was in the qualifier, but Grayson was pleased how her team took care of business.
"This tournament wasn't as challenging as others, but the team needed a confidence boost and to have some fun," added Grayson.
To get even better and to battle the elite teams Grayson has identified areas of her team's game that need improving.
"We have power servers, but we will continue to work on defense and serve-receive," added Grayson.

Their skills are growing and we're playing much better as a team," explained Coach Chelsea Grayson.
The tournament featured a wide range of competition that Grayson wanted to expose her team to, prior to the Qualifier and she was pleased with the focus her squad gave.
"Each of my players have an identifying role for the team and this tournament was great to see the entire team focused and wanting to win," added Grayson.
To get better, Grayson will focus on making a statement at the end of each game.
"We need to remember to continue to push and fight until the game is over instead of coasting to the finish line," noted Grayson, who will zero in on tightening up the defense in preparation for the Qualifier.

Even though the 13's were unable to secure a bid to the national finals, Coach Chelsea Grayson identified those last two qualifying tournaments in Dallas and Houston as the team's best tournaments of the season.
