TO POSITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER

Cleveland, Ohio - July 15, 2011 - Jergens Industrial Supply (JIS) is pleased to announce the promotion of Charles O'Hara to the position of Customer Service Manager.
is a 14-year veteran at JIS
with over 22 total years of experience in the customer service environment.
Charles began his career in ground level customer service positions, gaining a firm handle on what it takes to provide the highest quality of customer service at JIS.
development of vast product and job knowledge has led him into this technical lead position within JIS
The customer service manager position has been newly created as part of the JIS one-year roadmap for success strategy plan.
This comes on the heels of Jergens Industrial Supply's
acquisition of the cutting tools and industrial supplies division of long-time competitor The George Whalley Company
(GWC) in late 2010.
The acquisition and resulting incorporation of GWC employees into the JIS
team made it clear that a new streamlined structure in the customer service department was necessary for continued success and growth for all stakeholders - customers, vendors, JIS employees, and incoming GWC employees.

As customer service manager, Charles will play a key role in day to day management of customer service issues, creating policies and procedures, creating and providing technical training to customer service team members to improve product knowledge, and working to improve customer service response time and coverage.
