Chuck Hall is President - National Group of Nashville, Tennessee-based HCA, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services.
is responsible for HCA's operations, which currently includes 80 hospitals and 64 Ambulatory Surgery Centers in 12 states; Alaska, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Utah and Virginia.
Hall joined the company in 1987 as Chief Operating Officer of Sam Houston Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas, and was later promoted to Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to his current role, Hall was President of numerous Florida Divisions and Markets, and most recently HCA's North Florida Division where he was responsible for 10 hospitals in northern Florida, Orlando and the Florida panhandle.
Hall has been instrumental in many humanitarian efforts including Project Medishare in Haiti, a temporary hospital located at the Haitian airport during the aftermath of the devastating Haitian earthquake and supporting the Salvadorian American Humanitarian Foundation procure much needed medical equipment to improve the lives of impoverished Guatemalan children, many of which call the local city dump home, by assisting to set up a medical clinic at "My Refugio," a school started by American Kari Engan to bring hope to these children.
He is also an active board member for Tennessee Performing Arts Center and the HCA Hope Fund.
Hall earned a bachelor of science in finance in 1975 and a master's degree in business administration in 1979, both from Florida State University.
Hall has served on multiple industry boards and political action committees.
