CHARLIE DARSCH AND JAY HAUHN
FRISCO, Texas (February 11, 2008) - The Security Industry Alarm Coalition
(SIAC) announced today that the Security Industry Association
(SIA) has appointed Charlie Darsch
and Jay Hauhn as representatives to the SIAC Board of Directors.
and Hauhn will be replacing Rich Ader and Larry Dischert as the SIA representatives to SIAC
"We are very excited to have Charlie and Jay join the SIAC Board of Directors," stated Stan Martin, SIAC Executive Director.
As the Director of Corporate Relations for System Sensor, Charlie Darsch entered the security industry in the 1950's after losing a friend to an intruder.
Putting his electrical engineering degree from the University of Massachusetts to good use, Darsch founded Minuteman Security, an alarm installing company.
In 1972, he sold Minuteman Security and joined Aerospace Research as their Northeast Sales Manager.
Aerospace Research was later purchased by Aritech Corporation, then Sentrol, and by 1989, Darsch was promoted to vice president.
