On Thursday, 2 May 2013, Naval Historical Foundation Executive Director Captain Todd Creekman, USN (Ret), his wife Debbie, and Digital Historian Dave Colamaria had the pleasure of attending the annual Society of Sponsors of the United States Navy luncheon.

As NHF Executive Director Todd Creekman remarked after delivering the material to Pensacola during a November 2012 visit with both the museum leadership and Naval Aviation Museum Foundation staff, "we really enjoy the opportunity to help veterans and their families find appropriate homes for the important records and artifacts that tell the stories of service and sacrifice in war, crisis and peace."

Samuel Nicholson, first commanding officer of the USS Constitution, is presented with a gavel and sounding board made from the wood of USS Constitution by Executive Director, Naval Historical Foundation Captain Todd Creekman, USN (Ret) in appreciation for his support and donation made towards the National Navy Museum's new "Captains of the USS Constitution" interactive display.

On Tuesday, 15 November, Naval Historical Foundation Executive Director Captain Todd Creekman had the opportunity to participate in a Capitol Hill luncheon honoring officers and sailors from USS Enterprise who were selected as the 2010 and 2011 leadership award winners.
Captain Creekman presented each award winner with a personal congratulatory letter from Foundation Chairman Emeritus Admiral James L. Holloway III, USN (Ret.). Admiral Holloway was the third Enterprise commanding officer from July 1965 through July 1967.
