The L.I.V.I.N.G. Ministry has been doing ministry for almost 5 years now. It all began one Saturday night in November of 2002 when God began to lay the ground work for this ministry to the homeless.

In 7th grade, Charles Chapman
went on his
first mission's trip where he
worked with the homeless.
From that point on, God would continually work in his
life to develop the skills and talents necessary to be able to minister to the homeless.
After choosing Pitt over NYU
was eager to get involved in some homeless ministry in the city.
attended Cornerstone Christian Fellowship at Pitt where he
was involved in a bible study with Kyle Dague.
unrelenting passion for the homeless with Kyle, and was told to keep praying, because something was going to happen.
God was faithful, and didn't bring Charles
to Pittsburgh for nothing!
God was preparing something big for Charles
Because of this, him and Charles
were not able to meet until Saturday nights.
On that Saturday in November, Mike and Charles
first entered the doors of Pleasant Valley Shelter.
Mike knew this, and God was really pulling at his heart when he began to hear about what Mike and Charles
In the early fall of 2003, Mike, Charles
, and Mike were all sitting in a coffee shop one evening after having just been to the shelter and were wrestling together with what God wanted to do with the ministry.
Zach also attended Cornerstone Christian Fellowship and got interested in the ministry by the reports that Mike, Mike and Charles
brought each week.
, Mike, Mike and Zach, God had formed a solid foundation with Christ being the cornerstone, that has made a significant difference within the city of Pittsburgh.
