in a premises liability action involving severe personal injuries.The federal judge agreed plaintiff's claims could not go forward in the civil arena based on the exclusivity provision of the Missouri Workers' Compensation Act.Chad
recently briefed and successfully argued a motion filed on similar grounds in Clay County, Missouri, resulting in dismissal of a multi-million dollar suit.Chad
gained invaluable trial experience in the summer of 2007 when he
second-chaired a wrongful death auto accident case that resulted in a jury verdict allocating a portion of fault to the plaintiff.Chad
also second-chaired a two-week criminal trial in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.In these trials, Chad
handled pre-trial briefing and argument, as well as direct and cross-examination of multiple witnesses.Chad
