Among those who left the PLP
and became founding members of the Free National Movement
(FNM) were three members of the first Cabinet formed by the new Premier, Lynden Pindling, after the 1967 election: Cecil Wallace-Whitfield
, Warren Levarity, and Dr. Curtis McMillan.
...The same would be true of the late Sir Cecil Wallace-Whitfield, the founding leader of the FNM, who was chairman of the PLP in 1967 and was in charge of the Jan. 10 election campaign.
