Cassandra Georges is Principal of Above & Beyond Dispute Resolution. Ms. Georges provides alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services, including mediation and arbitration, to both businesses and individuals. She handles a wide variety of complex disputes, including commercial, personal injury, community, family, and employment matters.
Ms. Georges has been active in both the legal and ADR community. She is currently the Liaison to the Dispute Resolution Section and former two-time Dispute Resolution Chair for the largest young lawyer organization in the world - American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division. As the youngest member of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution's National Task Force on Diversity in ADR, she collaborates with senior executives of Fortune 500 companies, top law firms, and ADR providers to promote inclusion for all neutrals. Ms. Georges is a frequent speaker on ADR and civic engagement for professional organizations, universities, and radio programs.
A native of Philadelphia, Ms. Georges graduated with a B.A. in Communication and a J.D. with a Business and Public Policy Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania. She has served in various leadership roles, including President of the NBA Women Lawyers Division's Philadelphia Chapter, ADR Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and Philadelphia Team Leader for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's Voter Empowerment Project. Ms. Georges has been recognized by many prominent entities. She has been selected by the global ADR provider American Arbitration Association to join the Top 20 up and coming ADR professionals in the inaugural Higginbotham Fellows Class. She has also been named a Lawyer on the Fast Track, an honor The Legal Intelligencer bestows upon Pennsylvania's finest lawyers under the age of 40. Ms. Georges was recently inducted into the inaugural class of the Collaborative Bar Leadership Academy, uniting the nation's next generation of affinity bar leadership.

As of August 31, 2007, Cassandra J. Georges, Esq. ended her one-year ADR mentorship with our offices. Ms. Georges was the first recipient of the inaugural Dispute Resolution Fellowship that was created and implemented by Robert A. Creo's ADR entity, Impartial Dispute Resolution Services.
Cassandra Georges, a Philadelphia native, is a 2005 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Penn's undergraduate program in 2001. While at Penn, she developed an interest in mediation and engaged in several clinics and other training programs. On September 1, 2006, she started her 12-month Fellowship in Mr. Creo's Pittsburgh office. Among other things, she attended Mr. Creo's mediation and arbitration cases, observed training sessions, and assisted in the preparation and coordination of mediation cases.
