Cash Sutton III, P.E., Past LACBPE President
Cash Sutton III is a licensed electrical engineer in the state of California who graduated from the Drexel University Evening College in 1973.
He is president of Sutton Enterprises, an electrical engineering consulting firm and Amway, Quixtar multi-level marketing group.
is married to Jacqueline Marie Taylor, formerly of South Bend, Indiana.

He is an advocate of national and world energy policies that promote the use of energy resources without destroying our planet and he believes that our most important resource on earth is humankind.

Cash worked with the Bechtel Power Corporation for fifteen years, until 1989, in the design of electrical systems for nuclear and fossil power plants.
He worked as a consultant for Pacific Gas and Electric at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power plant for a year after that.
He accepted a position with the Southern California Gas Company, at that time a subsidiary of Pacific Enterprises, in 1990.
participated with the design and installation of compressed natural gas vehicle fueling stations and 200-kilowatt fuel cells.
He held the position of Senior Electrical Engineer until he was laid off during corporate downsizing in June 1995.
He worked with P2S Engineering, Incorporated from September 1995 until February of this year as a senior electrical engineer and project manager for facility modifications on several Southern California campuses and other facilities.
Cash joined TMAD Engineers, Incorporated in March of this year as a project electrical engineer assisting with the design for schools and other facilities.
Cash is also affiliated with Alvarez Engineering, Inc. and recently joined the E-Rate team under the Army Corp of Engineers for the Los Angeles Unified School District.

experience has been associated with the design, construction, startup and maintenance of electrical systems.

He is the immediate past president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers and the Los Angeles Council of Black Professional Engineers.
He is chairman of the Corporate Advisory Board for the MESA Engineering Program at California State University at Los Angeles.
He is the treasurer of the Los Angeles Chapter for the Industry Application Society of the Institute of the Electrical, Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
He is an active member of Christ the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
He was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Future Scientist and Engineers of America.
