Before joining Edelman, Carole worked independently for 12 years, creating PR campaigns for clients in television, sports entertainment, live comedy, independent film and charitable associations.
also spent three seasons with the television franchise Stargate, coordinating publicity and promotions initiatives with media around the world.
handled the franchise's consumer products requests, liaising with the studio to produce everything from board games to clothing to DVDs and amusement park rides themed with the television series' brand.

continues to work with the show's international and North American broadcasters to promote the series and DVD box set releases.
During the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, Carole
was the media relations and PR lead for the City of Vancouver's two celebration sites, LiveCity Vancouver.
These outdoor venues hosted Olympic sponsors, sporting coverage and nightly live stage entertainment with headlining bands.

In addition, Carole
has been part of the management team for the Heart
and Stroke Foundation's
Truth Fashion Show for three years, which raises awareness of heart health for Canadian women.
An alumnus of Simon Fraser University and the University of Western Australia, Carole uses her spare time to fumble through songs on the guitar, ski, experiment with recipes (not always for the better) and hang out with her, count 'em, 22 nieces and nephews.
