Before her untimely passing - February 10, 2002 - Carol created a "Message from Carol" for her Foundation.
If you lived in Houston, Texas during the 1960s, 70s, 80s, perhaps you would have heard of Carol Sanders Whitsett. GOD blessed her with unusual talent, intelligence, determination to succeed, most of all a Big Heart. Carol was an over achiever at both Jesse Jones High School and the Un. of Houston College of Pharmacy. She graduated from Jones High School where she served as Admiral of the Drill Squad, Judge of the Honor Court with Summa Cum Laude academic achievement and Valedictorian of her 1961 Graduation Class. She dreamed of Medical School and a career of service to those in need of medical assistance. On to the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, where she again distinguished herself with Magna Cum Laude academic achievement and again Valedictorian of her 1966 Graduation Class. Carol along with the University of Houston were recognized for her achievements when she was named an Eli Lilly National Merit Scholar. Her reward was a Houston Endowment full paid Scholarship to the Baylor College of Medicine.
The untimely passing of Bill took far more from Carol than could be anticipated or expected.
Life would never be anywhere near the same for Carol. She fell victim to legal mal practice and fiduciary abuse. In 1978, Bill and Carol followed the guidance of their family physician Dr. Jack Baxter for her to undertake a partial mastectomy due to reoccurring breast lumps and a family history of breast cancer.
Carol had reconstructive surgery using silicone implants that were promoted by the Manufacturer to be "Completely Safe" to "Last a Natural Lifetime". In a 1986 automobile accident, her implants ruptured and her health began to deteriorate. A myriad of autoimmune maladies, later to be categorized as Immune Dysfunction caused "Orphan Diseases" - Lupus, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CIFDS), Sjogrens, Multiple Sclerosis Like Syndrome, Sicca Syndrome, Hyper Lipodemia, Lack of Adequate Blood Oxygen Supply, White Blood Cell Disorder, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Spinal Deterioration, Organ Dysfunction, Memory Impairment, Fibromyalgia and a host of neurological complications were her constant companions. Her medical insurance was canceled in 1990, leaving her to beg for Charity Medical Care until she was medically judged to be totally disabled. In the meantime, Carol was forced to file for bankruptcy protection, lost her home, and until her untimely passing, survived on Social Security Disability, Medicare, Medicaid.

Before her untimely passing of her Beautiful Gifted Spirit, Carol Sanders Whitsett established the Whitsett Foundation to fund, establish, operate a Whitsett Foundation Clinic dedicated to the creation of a treatment/cure to remove Immune Resistent and Toxic Materials from the Body and Blood Chemistry. The presence of these materials created a diagnosis of Orphan Diseases - Lupus, Chronic Fatigue (CFIDS), Sjogrens, Sicca Syndrome, Organ Dysfunction, Memory Impairment, Lack of Adequate Blood Oxygen Supply. Carol was an Eli Lilly National Merit Scholar, an Award that was given to her in recognition of Valedictorian Graduation from the Un., of Houston College of Pharmacy. Because of this recognition, she established a relationship with a group of online Alternative Medicine Professionals to create a Hyperbaric Oxygen led medical treatment "Tissue Cleansing" which assisted in the removal of these materials from the Body and Blood Chemistry. Unfortunately, she passed her Beautiful Spirit before she could personally participate in this treatment.

Before Carol passed her Beautiful Gifted Spirit to the Kingdom of GOD, she stated "I am convinced that GOD did not put me on this earth to wither away and die as an emasculated human being.
In the memory of CAROL SANDERS WHITSETT, we conclude with the signature for her Foundation...............
May the Love, Spirit, Life, and Dedication of CAROL SANDERS WHITSETT never be forgotten
