Cheboygan County had the distinct honor this year to have our nominee be the state winner -- Ruth Gainor.   Over 100 people attended the Michigan Association for Family and Community Education's 2008 Convention held at the Historic Park Place Hotel in downtown Traverse City Oct. 8-10, including Cheboygan County FCE members Patti Barrette, Barbara Bartlett, Mary Ellen Enos, Ruth Gainor, Virginia Lemorie, Eunice Paseno, Sue Seneski, Carol Tschirhart and Beverly Wixson.
