Carol A. Graham, MD, is a top ranked surgeon who graduated from the University of Michigan and from Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was served at Washington University Medical Center and Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her Urogynecology fellowship at Wayne State University where she later became an attending faculty physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Urogynecology. Dr. Graham has also served on the faculty at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women's Health. At Wayne State and Louisville, Dr. Graham also conducted research studies of bladder overactivity using animal models funded by the NIH and other institutions. She has published numerous articles in the medical literature.
Dr. Graham is Board Certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).

Dr. Graham is the first fellowship-trained female Urogynecologist to practice in Kentucky, and the only U.S. fellowship-trained female Urogynecologist in the State. Dr. Graham maintains a busy clinical practice and manages our Continence Center. She began her basic science research in the 1980's, and also has many years of experience in clinical trials. Dr. Graham has also been invited to present the results of her research studies at numerous professional conferences and seminars. The hormonal effects on pelvic floor function have been of special research interest to Dr. Graham.

Carol A. Graham, M.D. - Dr. Graham practices at the new Norton Suburban Women's Pavilion and is affiliated with Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, at the University of Louisville Health Science Center from 2001 through 2003. Prior to this, Dr. Graham was an Assistant Professor in the Wayne State University Department of OB/GYN and director of Urogynecology. Dr. Graham completed her fellowship at Wayne State University under the direction of Veronica Mallett, M.D. Before entering her Fellowship, Dr. Graham was in private practice where she developed an interest in the laparoscopic management of gynecologic and urogynecologic problems. During her fellowship she developed an interest in basic science research and had an active animal laboratory where she studied the effects of hormonal manipulation on voiding behavior.
