He joined KPMG UK in 1979 and returned to Hong Kong in 1985.
He was the Chairman of KPMG China from 2007 to 2011 and Chairman of KPMG ASPAC from 2009 to 2011.
He retired from KPMG on 1 April 2011 after having been with the firm for 32 years.
He was also the Chairman of the Main Board and GEM Listing Committee of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (2006-2008) and member of the Listing Committee (2002-2006).
He is a JP, an Honorary Fellow of the Lingnan University, a UK chartered accountant and a Hong Kong CPA.
