"We're walking through it gingerly," said Carl Buehler, superintendent of the St. Libory School District, two dozen miles southeast of Belleville.
"And checking for land mines."
But the 91-student St. Libory district is only getting $23,000 extra from the federal government to help fill gaps in its $750,000 budget.
And that means Buehler's
already starting to cut.
