Cami Mattson is the director of community relations for Cox Communications' California operations.
is responsible for strategic direction and planning for all of the company's community relations efforts and corporate giving in California, which includes San Diego, Orange County, Palos Verdes and Santa Barbara.

departments for strategic alignment.
Mattson previously served as the president and chief executive officer of the San Diego North Convention and Visitors Bureau for 21 years.
was instrumental in changing the organization from a city bureau to a San Diego North regional bureau creating a distinct destination brand and increasing revenue from $300,000 to $3.2 million.
With over 10 public funding sources and 200 private sector members, Cami
made a collective difference in an underserved area producing significant economic impact through visitor spending
Mattson has served on the board of directors for the San Diego County Hotel Motel Association, the executive board for the California Travel Industry Association and is a past president for the Western Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus.
Mattson earned a bachelor's degree in public relations/communications from Brigham Young University.
is a long-time resident of Del Mar and has been known to make treks to Mount Everest and Kilimanjaro.
