Judge Calvin Milford District Judge, Chambers County

Judge Calvin Milford was elected District Judge of Chambers County in May of 2005. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1985, then went on to graduate from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1988. He was the full-time assistant District Attorney for Randolph County from 1988-1990 and then had a private law practice in LaFayette, Alabama from 1991-2005.

He is married to the former Sharron Rice of Roanoke and they are the parents of two daughters. Judge Milford is a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of LaFayette, Alabama. His civic involment includes Moderator of East Liberty Baptist Association from 1999-2002, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, Member and President-Elect of the Chambers County Bar Association, Member and Past President of LaFayette Rotary Club, Member of Chambers County Cattleman's Association, Member of Board of Directors of Chambers County Museum, Former President and Member of the Board of Directors of the Public Building Authority of the City of LaFayette, Alabama, 1994 graduate of Chambers County Project Leadership & served as a volunteer instructor on Chambers County history for 5 years, and was named the 2002 LaFayette Citizen of the Year by the Citizens for a Better LaFayette.
