, a partner at Baker & Daniels LLP - Lex Mundi's member firm for Indiana, has been nominated and elected to the Federation of Defense
& Corporate Counsel.
Composed of leaders in the legal community, federation members have been judged by their peers to have achieved professional distinction.It is comprised of a select number of experienced attorneys in private practice who devote a substantial amount of their professional time to representing corporations in the defense of civil litigation.Federation members also include general counsel and in-house counsel from throughout the world.Mason, who joined Baker & Daniels in 1988, practices in litigation, focusing primarily on commercial, products liability, mass tort and employment matters.He
represents several Fortune 500 companies nationally in complex commercial and products liability litigation.Earlier this year, Mason was named co-chair of the 600-member Mass Torts Committee by the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation.He previously served in a leadership role with the Product Liability Committee of the ABA Section of Litigation.Mason is involved in a number of community activities and has served on numerous for-profit and not-for-profit boards in Indianapolis.He currently serves on the board of trustees at Franklin College and board of directors for the Humane Society of Indianapolis.He graduated from Indiana University and the University of Iowa College of Law.
