He is currently a Director of Bentil Consulting Limited and the Board Chairman of JA Plant Pool Limited. Captain Koomson was the Group Chief Operations Officer (COO) for UT Financial Services for several years.
He has vast experience in Credit Management, Strategic Management, Project Management, and Operations. He joined UT Financial Services in 1999 as a Project Officer and rose through the ranks to the position of General Manager-Operations and Director of Operations, Chief Operations Officer and finally as Group Chief Operations Officer of UT Holdings. During his tenure as Group COO, he was responsible for the International expansion and profitability and successfully achieved this in three countries outside Ghana, having established UT Germany in Hamburg, UT Nigeria in Lagos and the UT South Africa subsidiary in Johannesburg amongst other achievements.
