As a United Fund campaign advocate for many years, he has also served the community as board member/treasurer of CASA of Talbot County, board member of The Country School, member and past president of the Rotary Club of Easton. He is also a former chairman and director of Memorial Hospital, Vice Chairman/Director of Shore Health Systems, and director of the Maryland Bankers Association.
