Chef BRYAN BERNSTEIN Saval Foods   6740 Dorsey Rd. Elkridge, MD 21075  410-379-5100 About CHEF BRYAN BERNSTEIN In 2004, Chef Bernstein joined Saval Foodservice as Corporate Chef. In his position, the accomplished culinarian has expressed his skills and talents on recipe development, menu planning, product presentations and reviews.  In 2012, Bryan was promoted as Marketing Manager.  His new responsibilities support Saval in achieving their goals and objectives by developing and managing services that empower Saval to attract and retain long-term, committed customers because of the added value they provide.   Bryan is an Executive Board Member for the Restaurant Association of Maryland Education Foundation, a judge for the annual Maryland Prostart Student Invitational (MPSI), Culinary Advisory Board Member for DC Central Kitchen (DCCK), Chef Instructor for DCCK, and Annual Capital Food Fight Stage Manager.  In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family and friends.  Bryan's culinary journey began at one of the world's most prestigious hospitality schools, the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York. After graduating at the top of his class, Chef Bernstein sought the tutelage of Chef Liam McMahon at the Hotel Bad Schachen resort in Lindau, Germany.  Upon return to the US, Bryan worked for many notable chefs, as well as a chef consultant.  His specialty was opening new restaurants and working with restaurant owners struggling with profitability.  After graduating at the top of his class, Chef Bernstein sought the tutelage of Chef Liam McMahon at the Hotel Bad Schachen resort in Lindau, Germany.  Upon return to the US, Bryan worked for many notable chefs, as well as a chef consultant.  His specialty was opening new restaurants and working with restaurant owners struggling with profitability.  Chef Bryan Bernstein Chef Bryan Bernstein

Saval's Corporate Chef, Bryan Bernstein participated in this year's March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction to benefit "Save the Babies" on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Baltimore Marriott, Waterfront. This featured more than 35 of the city's top chefs for an evening of culinary tastings. The event included a live auction of unique dining packages donated by the participating chefs.
