Bruce Litinger has been the executive director of ECLC of New Jersey since 1997.
e took over leadership of the non-profit as a second chapter in his
long career in special education/social services.
Bruce earned his B.A. degree at Newark State College and an M.A. at Kean University.
obtained certifications as an elementary school teacher, special education teacher, school social worker, guidance counselor, director of pupil personnel services, supervisor/principal and chief school administrator.
Prior to coming to ECLC, Bruce served as the district-wide director of special education for the Woodbridge Township Public Schools.

ECLC's Executive Director, Bruce Litinger, was given the 2012 ASAH President's Award for a lifetime of advocacy on behalf of people with special needs, starting from the beginning of his career as a special education teacher through to his leadership role today.
ASAH is a non-profit organization of more than 125 private schools and agencies serving students with disabilities.
"Bruce has given outstanding service to ASAH as a long-standing member as well as serving on the executive board," said Gerry Thiers, ASAH executive director.
