Brooks was a student at Benedictine High School, where he was active in sports, having played on the JV basketball, football and baseball teams, as well as the Varsity tennis team.He loved his Benedictine family, and that love was and continues to be returned in innumerable ways.Brooks was a gifted musician who played the guitar and wrote, sang and recorded music with his brother and friends.
