Bridget McConville - InstructorBridget McConville has a B.A. in Spanish from Marquette University . In 1999, she received a Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language from the University of Minnesota. After she graduated, she taught English in Ecuador at the Center for Interamerican Studies and traveled in South America.She also taught English as a Second Language at Century College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she incorporated community awareness and service into her classes.She first became interested in teaching English as a Second Language when she worked as a paralegal to help immigrants who were seeking political asylum.Currently, she teaches at the English Language School at Concordia University and is a newcomer to Portland.
