Cadet Advisor Brian SnyderCivilian Police Service Representative (CPSR) Brian Snyder started his career in Law Enforcement with the North Las Vegas Police Department in August of 1999 as a Police Explorer.During his career with the Explorer Program he attended the LVMPD Explorer Academy, and many local and out-of-state competitions.CPSR Snyder was a Cadet for about five years.He was promoted to the position of Cadet Sergeant in 2000, and ultimately became a Cadet Lieutenant in 2001.Under Snyder's command as a Lieutenant, he provided leadership to the Cadets in many competitions, winning several trophies. In September of 2004, Snyder was hired by the North Las Vegas Police Department as a Civilian Police Service Representative.He currently is assigned to the Northwest Area Command.His duties consist of taking many of the station reports for that command, easing the burden on the patrol officers.CPSR Snyder continued to help with the Cadet Program while he was in training for his new position as CPSR.His dedication to the Cadet Program has continued for years and in February of 2005, Snyder became a Cadet Advisor for the program.CPSR Snyder is eager to share his experiences in the Cadet Program by giving back to the program.Snyder provides training and guidance to the new Cadets while sharing his experience as a CPSR.
