World Jewry Committee and Men's Club presents Brian Shankman, Mid-Atlantic Regional Director for AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee).
He will speak about the history of the U.S.-Israel relationship and the current state of affairs in the Middle East. Mr. Shankman received his Master's degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where his studies focused on International Security Studies and International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. He has worked in AIPAC's Political Leadership Development Program, focused on student outreach on college campuses around the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States and he directed AIPAC's national internship program. He has held numerous positions in AIPAC's field offices in both Florida and Boston. Before coming to Mid-Atlantic Region 6 years ago, He spent 3 ½ years in New York serving as the Deputy Director for AIPAC's Northeast Region. Brian is currently responsible for overseeing AIPAC's political, development, and grassroots efforts .

AIPAC's Northeast Deputy Director Brian Shankman currently serves as the Deputy Director for AIPAC's Northeast Region. In this capacity, Brian is responsible for overseeing AIPAC's political, development, and grassroots efforts around New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Prior to assuming his current position, Brian returned to graduate school at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy where he received a Master's degree in International Security Studies, International Political Economy, and International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. During school, Brian's research was focused on terrorism as well as economic development opportunities in the Middle East.
