Brian Riedlinger has served as Chief Executive Officer of the School Leadership Center of Greater New Orleans since 1999 and strives for the improvement of school leadership and therefore, student achievement, through professional development of school leaders.
He has also served as CEO of the Algiers Charter School Association (ACSA) from November of 2005 to 2008 . As CEO of ACSA, he opened six schools on the West bank of New Orleans educating about 3,800 students in 2005-2006, the first group of schools to open after Katrina.
ACSA has opened three more schools for a total of nine.
Previously, he was a principal in the New Orleans public school system for 20 years and was selected State Principal of the Year in 1999.
Dr. Riedlinger received his bachelors and masters degrees from Louisiana State University and his doctorate from the University of New Orleans.
