Brian Morris is in his second year with OBU Athletics currently serving as Associate Athletic Director for External Operations where he oversees all aspects of the athletics department's comprehensive fundraising and revenue generating efforts including The Stampede - the annual fund for OBU Athletics, major giving, corporate sponsorships and ticketing.
Prior to joining OBU Athletics, Morris served in several athletics development and corporate sponsorship roles most recently as the senior account executive for Oklahoma State Cowboy Sports Properties. Prior to CSP, Morris served as the associate athletic director for development at Wichita State University. While at WSU, he led the athletics development staff and served as a member of the athletic director's senior management team. He secured a $1.2 million naming-rights gift for the Bombardier Learjet Indoor Practice Facility and maintained oversight of the $3.4 million annual fund for the Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization. Morris also worked as the assistant athletic director for development at Arkansas State University, where he led the development staff in setting a record breaking level for athletics annual fund giving, and as the assistant director of athletics development at the University of Oklahoma.
Morris also served a two year stint as the Missouri Valley Conference representative for the National Association of Athletic Development Directors.
Morris earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications from Kansas State University in 2003 and a master's degree in sport management from Wichita State University in 2013.
Morris, 34, and his wife Lindsay have a six year old son, Bennett, a four year old daughter, Esther and a three year old son, Caleb.

Brian Morris is in his third year as a member of the Wichita State Athletics family, and first as Associate AD for Development after being promoted to the post in February of this year.
Morris, who came to WSU in Dec., 2006, as the Director of Development, was promoted to Assistant AD for Development and Sales in Sept., 2008.
While at WSU, he helped secure a $1.2 million naming rights gift for the Building Excellence for the Student-Athlete Campaign, which includes the Bombardier Learjet Indoor Practice Facility. He has significantly enhanced WSU's planned giving program and implemented the SASO 110 Percent Club.
