On Monday, July 12, our Cowboy Sports Properties team will welcome Brian Morris, who will reside and office in Oklahoma City.
No stranger to the state of Oklahoma or Learfield Sports, Brian previously served as an Account Executive for Sooner Sports Properties in the spring and summer of 2005 after serving two years as OU's Assistant Director of Athletics Development. s a CSP Senior Account Executive, Brian will promote OU's cross-state rival, Oklahoma State. Before re-joining Learfield Sports' family, Brian most recently served as Associate Athletics Director for Development at Wichita State University. He was with the University since Nov. 2006 and before that, with Arkansas State University as Assistant Athletic Director for Development. Brian, a K-State grad who earned his master's at Wichita State, will be moving to OKC with his wife, Lindsay, and their children, Bennett and Caleb.

Oklahoma Baptist University Athletics Brian Morris Brian Morris is in his second year with OBU Athletics currently serving as Associate Athletic Director for External Operations where he oversees all aspects of the athletics department's comprehensive fundraising and revenue generating efforts including The Stampede - the annual fund for OBU Athletics, major giving, corporate sponsorships and ticketing. Prior to joining OBU Athletics, Morris served in several athletics development and corporate sponsorship roles most recently as the senior account executive for Oklahoma State Cowboy Sports Properties. Prior to CSP, Morris served as the associate athletic director for development at Wichita State University. While at WSU, he led the athletics development staff and served as a member of the athletic director's senior management team. He secured a $1.2 million naming-rights gift for the Bombardier Learjet Indoor Practice Facility and maintained oversight of the $3.4 million annual fund for the Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization. Morris also worked as the assistant athletic director for development at Arkansas State University, where he led the development staff in setting a record breaking level for athletics annual fund giving, and as the assistant director of athletics development at the University of Oklahoma. Morris also served a two year stint as the Missouri Valley Conference representative for the National Association of Athletic Development Directors. Morris earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications from Kansas State University in 2003 and a master's degree in sport management from Wichita State University in 2013. Morris, 34, and his wife Lindsay have a six year old son, Bennett, a four year old daughter, Esther and a three year old son, Caleb.
