Drawing from initiatives put forth by the President,s Management Agenda (PMA) and the framework established by the Federal Enterprise Architecture, he
facilitates in the development of coherent and efficient standards of practice for IT investment, management, security, and performance.
Incumbent to the position, Brian
produces educational trainings for implementing a citizen-centered e-government and streamlined IT through sessions on IT management, certification and accreditation, the OMB Exhibit 300 process and other key areas of government IT.Brian
is also involved in researching such emerging issues as IT capital planning and investment management, the FISMA reporting process, results-based performance management, the E-Gov Act of 2002, and the 24 E-Gov Initiatives.He is responsible for integrating such research with best-practices models in E-government to generate desirable results.Prior to working for the Performance Institute, Brian acquired a bachelor,s degree in American Studies and a concentration on Foreign Policy from Mary Washington College in Virginia.
