Chairman Rev. Brian Hay grew up in Decatur, graduating from Stephen Decatur High School in 1982. He attended Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in biblical studies. After a 10 year career in retail management, Rev. Hay entered full-time pastoral ministry. He was ordained an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2000. He pastored the Oak Grove Church of the Nazarene in Decatur from 1997 to 2004 and currently serves as the pastor of the Auburn Church of the Nazarene in Auburn, IL. A staunch advocate of school choice and alternative education, Rev. Hay partnered with a group of community leaders to found the Robertson Charter School in Decatur, which opened in 2001. Rev. Hay has served as Vice-president of the school since its inception. Rev. Hay and his wife Tracy have four children: Tim, Alex, Andrea and Rebekah and reside in Auburn, IL. Rev.
