Child-like spirit helps relate to students
Known for his
jovial spirit and outgoing personality, Dr. Brian Greeney
has already made an impact on the Klein Oak community in his
first year as the school principal.
Refusing to change who he
is because of his
recognizes that he
does have the child-like demeanor.
Having been with Klein ISD since 2002, Greeney has served in many capacities including a swim coach, AP Government teacher, assistant principal, associate principal and principal at Wunderlich Intermediate and now Klein Oak High School.
He truly believes that he was called to serve and that serving others is the most important aspect of being a principal.
takes time to reflect back on what it was like when he
was a teenager and how he
wanted people to relate to him.
genuinely cares about people he
meets and his
students and wants to make sure they understand that he
is trying to relate to them and is truly interested in their lives and getting to know them.
"It's a great honor but the most important thing is you can't receive an honor like this without having wonderful staff around you and great kids," said Greeney
