Brian M. Foss, Chief Operating Officer
Brian joined Community Care Services in February 2001, bringing extensive experience in a variety of human services positions since 1983.
Prior to joining the Agency, he served as Senior Vice-President at the Center for Health and Human Services in New Bedford.
Brian is responsible for supervising the operations of Community Care Services' Human Resources, Volunteers, Management Information Systems, Quality Management, Property Management and Facility Maintenance departments.
Additionally, Brian has responsibility in programmatic functions including Outpatient Behavioral Health Programs, Community Based Services, and new projects.
He chairs Community Care Services' Compliance, and Risk Prevention and Management Committees.
Brian created a new nonprofit transportation subsidiary of Community Care Services, Community Care-A-Vans in 2003.
also oversees our most recent subsidiary, Eagle Community Care Estates, LLC.
This new housing subsidiary provides pe4rmanent supportive housing to 17 low income families.
Brian also serves as a Board Member of Project Independence, a New Bedford MA adult day care provider, and he formerly served as Board Treasurer of the Massachusetts Adult Day Services Association from 2003 through 2010.
Brian received his B.A. from the University of Rhode Island, Master of Social Work from Rhode Island College, and Master of Science in Health Services Administration from Salve Regina University.
