Brian Scott Forsyth, Of Counsel
Brian earned a bachelor's degree in English from San Francisco State University in 1991; a master's degree in English Composition and Rhetoric from Humboldt State University in 1995; and his Juris Doctor degree from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon in 2004.
hile in law school, Brian worked for the Oregon Department of Justice in its Civil Torts division and for the Oregon Department of Environmental Protection.
also worked in the law school's poverty outreach legal center, representing economically challenged people in a variety of cases.
moved to Pennsylvania in late 2004, then passed the Pennsylvania bar exam and became admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar
From 2005 until 2010, Brian served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary Ann Campbell, a judge of the Berks County Court of Common Pleas.
As a law clerk, Brian focused on family law, specifically custody, divorce, support, protection from abuse, and dependency matters.
researched and wrote extensively in these areas.
In addition to his law clerk duties, Brian served as the Berks County Court of Common Pleas Video Arraignment Master, and served on the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts Fatherhood Group Committee.
Brian is a member of the Berks County Bar Association as well as the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
is married and lives with his
family in Berks County.
has coached youth soccer and taught chess in local elementary schools.
Before becoming an attorney, Brian worked a variety of jobs from co-directing a youth summer camp to editing encyclopedias and teaching English classes at a college level.
used to run marathons but currently just watches sports and plays racquetball and soccer.
