Brian Acworth
Brian has enjoyed a range of senior positions in his career and has considerable board, governance, private enterprise, business and Government experience. Brian was the head of Government business for Westpac Institutional Bank from 1996 to 2011. He has previously been Chairman for Exhibition Park In Canberra (EPIC), a Director at John James Memorial Hospital and a Director at the Royal College of Nursing, Australia. His current positions include Chairman of the Finance committee, University of Canberra, Director of Goodwin Retirement Homes Ltd and Director at the John James Hospital Foundation. Brian has long been recognised for his energy, ability to generate business, integrity and personal, government and business networks in the ACT and Queensland. He has been awarded the Order of Australia for contribution to community and business development and has been named an Honorary Ambassador for the ACT.
