After six previous competitions throughout the 2008 season and competing in some of the most exciting baseball parks in the nation the final two competitors came down to Miken's powerhouse hitter Denny Crine and Easton's legendary long ball hitter Brett Helmer.
"While hitting against phenomenal home run hitters like Jeff Hall and Brett Helmer and the others I think the Miken Psycho bat is what made all of the difference out there. However Easton's Brett Helmer was veteran to this type of pressure and the legendary long baller produced nine big time homers to tie Crine. Helmer started the hit off first however he was not able to hit the ball out of the stadium.
