Brett joined CIBC in June 2004 after working in investment banking with Citigroup Global Markets in New York for six years.
Brett also previously held positions as an engineer - industrial sales, manufacturing and mining.
Brett graduated with a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University in 1992.
